A marriage restored: healing after adultery

In week four of our sermon series, Transformed, Pastor David sits down with Tony and Lymari Navarro to hear how God redeemed and restored their marriage after an affair. Each day, we have the opportunity to choose grace. When someone sins against us, will we choose God's way and forgive? The path of forgiveness leads to redemption and restoration. In this powerful testimony, Tony and Lymari share how God redeemed their marriage and now uses them to impact marriages, families, and individuals for His glory. Tony and Lymari Navarro are national conference speakers at A Weekend to Remember, a getaway designed to foster oneness in relationships. For over a decade, they have been pastoring couples, families, and young adults in Chicago, Bloomington, and beyond. They were recently featured on HGTV's Battle on the Mountain and have since built a successful business flipping homes and doing interior design—an inspiring reflection of the restoration God has brought to their marriage. In Fall 2025, Tony and Lymari will release their first book, sharing the testimony of how God changed the course of their marriage, family, and legacy through a moment of grace and forgiveness.

Take a look at the story of City Church and how God has grown our church through generations of generosity. From investing in the next generation and reaching people around the world through our online campus, to serving our local community, providing recovery services, building campuses, spreading the Gospel globally, helping save 15 families from slavery, and providing 60 clean water wells, God has done incredible things through City. And He’s not done yet. This is the heart of God and the vision of City Church.

Can The Rich Enter Heaven?

What are you holding onto that God may be asking you to release? This week, we continued our Legacy series by looking at the story of the rich man who came to Jesus and was challenged to let go of his possessions and follow Him.

God is bigger than anything we can own or accomplish in our time on earth. A life that leaves a lasting legacy begins with humility, letting go of the baggage we carry, and making ourselves available for God to use.

Our lives matter. What we do with them matters. And the legacy we leave begins with choosing to follow Jesus.
