Vision

  • What is God’s Vision For The Church?

Take a look at the story of City Church and how God has grown our church through generations of generosity. From investing in the next generation and reaching people around the world through our online campus, to serving our local community, providing recovery services, building campuses, spreading the Gospel globally, helping save 15 families from slavery, and providing 60 clean water wells, God has done incredible things through City. And He’s not done yet. This is the heart of God and the vision of City Church.

  • Loving difficult people

Do you know who you are in Christ?

In this message, Pastor David Norris teaches on the power of identity in Christ and why our purpose, good works, and spiritual impact must flow from who God says we are.

The Bible says we are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). We are called to love others even when it’s difficult, build up the body of Christ, and help others find salvation through Jesus. When we truly understand our identity, we begin to live out our calling with the help of the Holy Spirit, walking in love, boldness, and purpose.

  • Divine Protection

In week four of our Vision sermon series, Pastor David Norris shares a powerful message on spiritual warfare and God’s protection. The Bible teaches us in Ephesians 6 that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against unseen spiritual forces.
Learn how to stand firm against the strategies of the devil by putting on the armor of God and living with spiritual awareness. When we walk in God’s vision for our lives and stay rooted in His Word, we can overcome any attack from the enemy.
Whether you’re feeling spiritually attacked, seeking clarity in your faith, or wanting to grow stronger in your walk with Christ, this message will equip you to fight your spiritual battles with confidence.

  • Seeing God as a Good Father

In week three of our Vision series, Pastor David Norris is joined by his father, Pastor Kim Norris, for a message titled “Seeing God as a Good Father.”

Drawing from Matthew 6:31–33, they explore how Jesus reveals God not only as our provider, but as a good and trustworthy Father, especially when life feels heavy, uncertain, or overwhelming.

If you’ve ever wrestled with trust because of father wounds or stress, this sermon offers hope. You’ll discover how seeking first the Kingdom unlocks a life marked by peace, provision, and the fruit of the Spirit, even in difficult or uncertain circumstances.

  • Why we need the local church

Are hurt, offense, or bad habits blocking your vision? In this week’s message, Pastor Candace unpacks why God designed us to heal through the local church, especially when we’re facing pain, disappointment, or cycles we can’t seem to break.

Discover why the church community matters more than ever, and how stepping out of your comfort zone to serve, join a team, or connect with others can lead to healing, purpose, and a renewed vision for your life.

Whether you’ve experienced church hurt, feel stuck in your faith, or need fresh direction, this message will help you move forward in God’s plan and embrace the power of community.

  • The Importance of Vision

Do you have a vision for your life? In this message, Pastor David Norris explores why vision is important and how God’s plan for your life is bigger than anything you could imagine.

Learn how to discover and pursue a vision from God that aligns with your purpose, expands God’s kingdom, and builds His church. This message is perfect for anyone seeking Christian motivation, direction, or wanting to better understand their God-given calling.

  • God can restore your marriage

In week one of our series, Vision, Clif and Stacey Marshall join PD to discuss how God can redeem anything. In their message titled, From a Mess to a Miracle, Clif and Stacey share how God restored and redeemed their marriage. Saying yes to God can change everything, and a simple act of obedience can lead to restoration of something that appeared broken beyond repair.

  • Legacy of Faith

Pastors David and Sumer tag team a message this Mother’s Day to talk about how no matter what, we all leave a legacy behind. They explain that we are the ones who choose whether it’s a good or bad legacy, and how we can leave behind a legacy of faith.
