Intern Mentor

Purpose of the Job

As the Intern Mentor you are responsible for assisting the Internship Director with the management and mentoring of all City Interns. In this position you will do things like organize a weekly intern small group, help create community among interns, and do intern follow ups while still completing intern work for their specific area. This position can be held in addition to other internship positions.

Responsibilities

• Commit to a consistent schedule every week
• Organize a weekly Intern Small Group
• Assist Internship Director with Intern follow ups
• Complete intern specific tasks for Internship Director
• Assist with creative brainstorming and ideas for the internship program
• Help create an atmosphere of hospitality and community among interns

Prerequisites

• Already completed Next Steps and Lead
• Signed Ministry Character Agreement
• Have completed at least one semester of a City Internship
• Have shown reliability in all areas they have served within City Church
