Purpose of the Job

This role assists the facilities manager in maintaining, cleaning and updating the City Church property inside and outside. Some of the daily functions include vacuuming, trash, cleaning restrooms, cleaning classrooms, mopping and occasionally some light maintenance work. Additionally, this role assists in set-up and tear-down of City events.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift over 10 lbs
  • Ability to be on feet and walking for most of the day
  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
  • Eye for detail and self-starter
  • Ability to work independently
  • Team player
  • Ability to fit into City Church’s core values and alignment with the character agreement

Job Description

  • Monday – Friday 8 hour days, Flexible hours
  • Weekly cleaning duties including: bathrooms, moping, vacuuming, dusting and other cleaning duties as assigned
  • Assisting in organizing and maintaining organization throughout the church
  • Assist with set up for events
  • Paid time for after hours and weekend events
  • Inventory of supplies and snack weekly
  • Occasional help with paint touch ups, general repairs, light bulb replacements and other maintenance duties as assigned
