Connecting Leaders to Kingdom Purpose

The Legacy Team is an outlet for those who are called and equipped to finance the Kingdom of God and to leave a legacy. This team serves our church with the gift of generosity by accelerating vision.

Legacy people give influence, resources and time as a local church ministry expression. Each member prayerfully commits to give over and above their tithe to impact eternity for generations to come.

The Legacy of Impact

We believe God has called us with a specific assignment to create permanent locations to reach our communities and train laborers to fulfill the Great Commission. We have built strategic systems to define where we invest our missions dollars, which we call our Legacy Lanes. Every year as we continue to do a little individually, together we do a lot. In our giving platform, all giving is attributed to the individual. You will each receive a giving statement at the end of the year for tax purposes.

To download your most recent giving statement, select Manage Account on our giving page. Login using your email or phone number and then click Giving Statements on the left-hand menu. 

We will also send your statement to the email associated with your account by January 31 of the following calendar year (sent from no-reply@pushpay.com). Please check your spam or junk folder if you do not see it right away! If you need help getting a copy of your statement or have questions about your transaction history, just let us know at business@citychurchbloomington.org and we’d be happy to help!

For security purposes, a 6-digit code will be sent to your phone to confirm your identity if you are signing in with a mobile phone number.

Yes. When your account is created, your payment information is securely saved in your account. If you would prefer not to have your payment information saved, you may give as a guest. (Note: Recurring giving and ACH are not supported when giving as a guest.)

Giving FAQ’s

In Malachi 3:10, God tells us to bring the tithe, which is 10% of our income, to Him. Later, Jesus affirms this in the New Testament. By giving back to God a portion of what He has blessed us with, we show our trust in His faithfulness and provision.

At City Church, tithes are applied to the general fund. Offerings beyond your tithe are applied to our Heart for the House Fund. Heart for the House funds accelerate the vision of City Church in our home, our neighborhood, and our world beyond day-to-day operations. By trusting God with your gifts, please know that you are making a difference in the lives of those in our church and community.

When you give to City Church, God does something amazing. He multiplies your gifts and does more with it than any of us could ask or imagine. Your tithe becomes part of God’s plan to resource the local church to do His work here on earth. And He also allows you to be a part of all He is doing in your community and around the world through local and global missions partners. Know that we honor your gifts with faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that the financial integrity of City Church remains beyond reproach.

The easiest and best way to give is through the giving portal on our website or though the City Church for All Nations app. You can make a gift, schedule your giving, and review your giving history all in one place. Click the app store links in the footer of our website to download the app for free today.

The most cost-effective method of giving to City Church is the “bank account/ACH” option. This method has the lowest processing costs which allows us to put more of your gift to work in ministry.

Yes! Every semester, we offer a Financial Peace course. It’s a program that provides valuable insights and practical tools for managing finances. Visit the groups page to sign up! 

At City Church, we value financial accountability and transparency. We have established external partnerships with reputable financial institutions to ensure the safe and responsible handling of all incoming donations. We work with external accountants to review our finances and share those findings with you every year in our annual report. We also prioritize connections with other organizations and churches to share resources and knowledge on best practices for financial stewardship.
