As part of our Summer Fest fun, we plan on taking your child to experience an adventure off church property. By registering your child for City Kids Summer Fest you are giving us permission to do this. If you are unsure or do not want your child to participate in this adventure please email citykids@citychurchbloomington.org. We will be sharing the destinations with parents as the date draws closer.

We want to support your family with excellence at Summer Fest and want you to help us decide what your child can safely eat. During registration, you will be given an option to indicate that your child has a food allergy. If we are serving a snack or lunch that your child cannot eat due to an allergy, they can bring an alternative option that is dairy free and nut free.

Please send your child’s epi pen in a plastic zip top bag with their first and last name and allergen written on it to the first day of Summer Fest. Please give the epi-pen to your child’s group leader when you drop your child off for the day. Their group will keep the epi-pen with them at all times.

Please send your child’s rescue inhaler with prescription label (and spacer, if needed) in a plastic zip top bag with their first and last name and allergen written on it to the first day of Summer Fest. Please give the rescue inhaler to your child’s group leader when you drop your child off for the day. Their group leader will keep the rescue inhaler with them at all times.

We will do our very best to accommodate small group requests. Please send any requests before May 26th to cgullion@citychurchbloomington.org. Please note, children will have to be the same grade to be in a small group together.

For those arriving late: at check-in, have your student notify the registration desk. We will make sure they meet up with their group. For those leaving early: please make sure their small group leader is notified at the beginning of the day. Students arriving after 10:30 may not be able to attend the field trip if their group is going on one that day.

Your child should only bring a towel and change of clothes on the last day of camp but can bring them other days if wanted.

Other questions/concerns, email citykids@citychurchbloomington.org.
