CORPORATE WORSHIP UPDATE
Dear City Church Family,
Pastor Sumer and I want to thank you for being a part of what God is doing here, especially as we’ve navigated the COVID-19 crisis. It’s an honor to do this alongside you!
It is our heart to serve you and provide ways for us to stay connected during this time. Because your health is important to us, we have been prayerfully considering the safest option to gather as our state reopens. We have created this tentative plan to worship corporately. If we feel that the wellbeing of our church is at-risk, we will adjust our plan and timeline.
STAGE ONE | AUDITORIUM OPENS JUNE 7TH
As of now, our first Sunday together will be June 7th at 9:30AM and 11:15AM. We will have family friendly worship experiences. The whole family can sit together in the main auditorium. We will practice social distancing and adhere to our state’s guidelines. Next week, we will provide a comprehensive plan on our website to ensure your safety.
STAGE TWO | CITY KIDS & THE MOVEMENT OPEN AFTER AUGUST 9TH
Our team is preparing to reopen services for children and teens after August 9th. We will follow the CDC daycare guidelines and disinfectant classrooms between worship experiences.
If you are considered high risk, or if you are uncomfortable with our plans, we encourage you to join us online for our worship experiences. You may also connect with others by joining an online group.
Please let us know if you have questions or need prayer or support.

Update From Pastor David
City Church family,
In order to prevent further spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus), our governor is banning large public gatherings. In light of this, we invite you to attend church with us online this Sunday at 9:30a and 11:15a. We’ll be streaming both worship experiences on Facebook and livestream.citychurchbloomington.org. During our online worship experience, you’ll be able to worship, watch a sermon, give, and pray with one of our pastors! We are doing our best to serve you and we are confident that God will meet us as we gather remotely!
If you are not comfortable or able to give online please send your gift to our mailing address:
