Eagles are Amazing!

Eagles inspire us with their strength and majesty. When we see an eagle, it captures our attention, showcasing God’s splendor and reminding us of our identity in Christ.

In Isaiah 40:31, it says, “But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” God calls us eagles, not chickens or vultures. This is significant because eagles soar above storms, carried by the wind without flapping their wings. Similarly, when life’s storms come, we can rise above them, sustained by the Holy Spirit.

When we trust in Jesus, we gain the strength to soar above life’s challenges, to run without growing weary, and to walk without fainting. Trust is the key—relying on Him, following His lead, and surrendering control. Often, we struggle with this, reaching for control out of fear, which leaves us tossed around by the storms. But we can choose to trust Jesus, who rebukes the storms and commands them to be still, as in Psalm 107:29: “He calmed the storm to a whisper and stilled the waves.”

Are you facing a storm today? God is with you, calling you to soar like an eagle. He will lift you above the storm and command it to stop.

So, how do we soar like eagles?

  1. Wait on God: This means serving Him with active faith, not just passively waiting. When we serve God, our faith comes alive, and He gives us the strength to soar. Isaiah 40:31 promises this. Bring God your heart, get involved in His work, serve in your local church, give, pray, and more. This is where our faith thrives.
  2. Give Him the Lead: When God leads our lives, we are better, protected, healthy, and healed. Let God lead through His Word—base your decisions on His Word, see yourself and others through His Word, and live according to His guidance. This choice empowers us to soar and endure.

Take these steps and see the transformation in your life! We are called to soar like eagles, not to peck the ground like chickens. Embrace your higher calling in Jesus and rise above the storms!

God bless you, and remember, the best is yet to come!
