Thank You For Everything

Did you know, when our bodies hit 40% capacity, they tell us to stop?

This happens when someone does anything, then pushes the limits of endurance, especially when exercising.

In fact, when running, once a person hits 40%, their body begins to scream, stop! However, the reality is, there’s 60% left to use and push through. When someone does push through, the runner experiences a second wave of endurance, that propels them to run even faster than before.

However, the person must push through the 40% barrier to discover what’s left to move up another level.

how many times in our faith, have we stopped at 40%?

We think, I can’t do this anymore. I’ve prayed and waited for a long time and I can’t pray one more prayer. I’ve served God but nothing has happened for me. I’ve waited for God to do something, but I don’t see it. I’ve tried to love my spouse, I’ve tried tithing, I’ve tried to love my neighbor, I’ve tried to do life God’s way and I just can’t do it anymore.

Have you been there?

In truth, we all have because anytime we go toward God, our limits will be tested. We’ll hit our spiritual 40% and think, I can’t anymore.

But just like in running, on the other side of this barrier, is a victory and another wave of faith, that can take us to new depths in Jesus.

I know this is true because, so many times I’ve wanted to quit and make a decision based on the 40% feeling. But when I held on, God showed up and I went to another level.

Just think, what does God have for you and me, in the 60%?

I believe it’s answered prayers, miracles, favor, people saved, breakthroughs and fulfillment. I believe this is where promises are fulfilled and victories we’ve waited on, happen.

Just remember, every time we hit the 40% barrier, there’s 60% left, that God wants to work through for His glory.

I love these verses in Psalms

“I prayed to the Lord, and He answered me. He freed me from all my fears. Those who look to Him for help will be radiant with joy; no shadow of shame will darken their faces. In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened; He saved me from all my troubles.”

Psalms 34:4-6

These speak of pushing through the 40%, to discover what God has.

Notice, we can seek the Lord through our fears and have victory over them. Then, our faces will shine for joy and shame is broken off our lives. Finally, when we hit that 40% and we feel like we can’t, we cry out in desperation and Jesus delivers us from our troubles.

In these verses, we see the 60% has victory over fear, shame broken, filled with joy and delivered from our troubles. Sounds good to me, how about you?

The good news is, we ALL can have this and more in our lives. The issue is, we must push through the 40% barrier.

Too many times, our circumstances and our feelings are telling us to stop, when God is helping us move through one step at a time.

I encourage you today, there’s another wave of endurance in your faith. This wave can sustain you into the 60% where God’s answered prayers and victory are for you. So keep going. Don’t stop. Continue to pray. Move forward with your faith actions and let God breath life into your heart.

Remember, the 40% is a mirage of the truth. It says you can’t go on, but in reality, you can. There’s so much more for you and in Jesus, the best is yet to come!

No matter what, if God is for you, who can be against you!

Move forward through the 40% and discover what’s on the other side.

Love and believe in you,

PD
