CHRISTMAS COUNSELOR
Having good counsel is huge in life! This is scriptural and naturally beneficial as everyone needs help navigating emotions and the issues we deal with. In truth, all of us face uncertainty within our life; therefore, Christ has given us principals to practice so that we thrive through all of it!
The challenge we face is doing what we know to do, so we receive the right results! For some, counseling can be taboo or a part of life we resist. This can stem from embarrassment, pride or fear of change. The problem with this position is that it’s easy to get stuck emotionally, spiritually, and in our relationships. When this happens these areas of our lives are doomed to be hurt again as we stop growing. Yet there is a better way; however, we have to receive His counsel! We all need the Christmas Counselor!
“For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulders: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6
Counselor in this verse means to resolve and advise; therefore, He will resolve our conflict, and He will advise us in the right way.
This is vital because for some this is the best time of year and for others it is the worst time of year. There can be great joy and great pain. No matter our condition, the Christmas Counselor is needed and He is ready to soothe the heart, give grace to the soul and give peace to the mind. He is here!
What area could He resolve this season? Is it personal, financial, martial, family or other? He is willing to solve it because He is the answer! What issue could He advise you in? Is it conflict at home, on the job, within yourself or others? Receive hope today as something good is going to happen to you! There is so much we face yet He will advise what to do, how to do it and where to do it. He will lead us into peace and comfort as we walk through the struggles of life. He is faithful, and He knows everything! Choose to trust Him today because the best is yet to come.
I encourage everyone to practice two things: First, give Him control of your life. Let go of your way and your plan which stems from your own counsel. This is easier said than done, but it will crush the fear in life and release us into greater days! Second, give Him your humility. Pride blocks Him but humility releases Him! The Christmas Counselor is waiting to do the impossible in your life; therefore, you must be humble! You must choose this position in life.
I believe these are two steps we can take to begin receiving the Christmas Counselor. This is the moment to receive His love! I pray you have a great Christmas.
Have a great week and love you all!
