NEXT STEP
Everyone has a next step in life.
Next steps are a part of our process and growth as we evolve through the good and the bad. It’s our chance to turn for good the junk we went through or to capitalize on the opportunities given to us. This choice is connected to the next step we take.
What is your next step?
I believe this is not ambiguous but practical on a daily basis. For example, a next step could be forgiving someone who has wronged you. Having a prayer time daily, and/or reading the Bible daily. It could be to start tithing, serving at your church or in your community, inviting someone to church or having a conversation with your neighbor. Having a date with your spouse weekly or a weekly time with your child. It’s not the size of the step but it’s making the step that counts and brings life change.
Our struggle is the trepidation we feel with the next step. We are challenged with change, letting go, moving forward and being uncomfortable; however, this is where we are changed. This is where we are made new! Yet, it is possible to be stale and stuck in Christ. When this happens, it’s not Him but us creating this scenario. Our next step can break this cycle and move us forward.
The next step of our lives, will bring us into the next phase of our life!
“The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.”
Proverbs 4:18
Notice our next step leads us into brighter places and into the full light of day. This can empower us to be fearless moving ahead with our next step. Our future is better than our present and better than our past. The best days are ahead of us because He has a good end and a complete life in His will.
His plan is fulfillment for our soul and peace in our mind. It’s the discovery of why we are here and who we are to impact.
Will you take your next step?
Whatever it is, move ahead and take it! Seize the moment of today and receive all He has.
We love you and believe in you.
Have a great week and the best is yet to come!
