ALL IN

Have you been ALL IN for something? If so, it consumes you with desire and passion. It fuels your motivation, giving you strength to do more. It pushes you beyond your limits into another level of discovery, and it inspires you to reveal what’s inside.

Most of us are ALL IN for something; at least we once were, but we?ve faced the challenge of being distracted. This ultimately makes something simple; complicated, slowly taking us away from our focus and filling it with other things. The daily grind is a lot; more so are the personal challenges we face. Yet, we have hope in Christ.

We experience this with our faith too!

Being ALL IN for God is amazing! It’s the best place to be and it?s the best way to experience Jesus! His joy and peace are irreplaceable! His grace and mercy are indescribable and His love is unconditional! He is worthy of our lives. Yet, religion makes Jesus complicated. The form of church is easy but the reality of God causes us to see our need of Him. This reveals our brokenness and areas of vulnerability which are hard realities to face; however, what is revealed is healed!

So, how do we keep it simple?

“Therefore, go make disciples of all Nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 28:19

Notice this verse sums up the ALL IN of Jesus, which is people. We find our purpose by giving to others. It’s always connected to relationships. So here are the two things that keep this simple.

First, we love God. Jesus said to love Him with all our heart, soul and mind. This includes our innermost feelings, passions, desires and actions. It’s the core of us being lifted to God for hope and healing. It’s our heart being wide open to what He has and to who He is. This is relational at its truest form. Notice He desires our hearts, minds and souls. Any great relationship we have contains all three of these. How much more with God?

Loving God is the greatest relationship we can have!

Second, we love people. Jesus said to love others as we love ourselves. This connects to our forgiving, accepting and serving with others. We forgive because we have been forgiven. We accept because we have been accepted. We serve because He has served us. This is the law reciprocity at its best. We give because we have received. We love because we have been loved.

The life that gives to others, lives for generations!

What are you ALL IN for today?

Resist religion and enjoy Christ daily. Be ALL IN and hold nothing back. Keep it simple and fight off distraction by loving God and loving people. We have one life to make an impact and to see others live forever in eternity. You have a part to play and something to give! Be ALL IN and start today.

Have a great week and the best is yet to come!
