LAUNCH
Launch is a part of life and it moves without our permission. Have you noticed that we can’t avoid it?
We age without volunteering, we graduate, we work and we gain relationships with responsibilities along the way; this is a part of our journey of growing up and fulfilling our purpose. Some try to argue with it but lose every time. Some try to avoid it but end up alone. Others try negotiating but end up with more than what was wanted. This is the process of life; therefore, we all will launch.
What if we let Jesus launch us as life does?
Our opportunity for Jesus to launch us is daily, as we allow?Him to lead us into our next step. Whether this is small or big, the launch of our life can change everything; yet, we struggle with doubt. We doubt God, ourselves and others. However, Christ can empower us within this struggle.
“When they saw Him, they worshiped Him-but others doubted! Jesus came and told His disciples, “I have been given all authority in Heaven and Earth.”
Matthew 28:17-18
Notice, even the disciples worshiped and doubted just like we do today, but this did not stop Christ from launching them into their next step.
It’s easy to assume that doubt disqualifies us, or that it hinders us from answered prayers, but that is not the case. The 11 disciples were left to lead the greatest movement in history and to do so through worship and their doubt.
So, how do we overcome doubt?
The first thing we can do is worship through our doubt. When we feel doubt well up within our minds, we can take action.
Some practical steps to take can be to turn on worship music and begin to let your heart express itself to Him. The quality of our voices makes no difference, He is after our hearts. You can also pray out loud and talk to God about how you doubt but that you’re choosing to worship Him anyway. Lastly, you can write a list of all the things God has done in your life, thus remembering His goodness. This will stir your faith, knowing that He will come through for you.
The second thing we can do is take the chance and be launched. Our next step is huge for our development in all areas of life, which is why being launched is a must!
When we take our next step, the authority that Jesus has is given to us as we overcome ourselves and others. This leads to our lives being better in all aspects! This may be instant or it may be a process, but believe that He is working.
What is your next step? What is your launch; is it to forgive, to let go of the past, to open your heart to God?
The moment is now! The launch is now! Seize this opportunity and let Jesus do amazing things in you.
Have a great week and the best is yet to come!
