UPON ARRIVAL

The arrival of Christ changed the history of the world and the history of individual lives!

He revealed a new landscape of hope, truth and love that no one knew. His person touched the untouchable and loved the unlovable. He fulfilled God’s Promise and challenged the religious form. He changed the world while giving all types of people a new beginning and eternal life.

Today Christ-followers echo this experience through their expressions of worship and kindness. Our chance to impact history is now as we reflect what He has done in us and who He is in us! This is our moment to shine!

Our world is desperate for a Real Christ that knows where we are and can take us to where we can be a Christ that sees past our issues, our styles, our scares and raises us up out of our ashes.

Upon arrival everything changes!

“Unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, and the government shall be upon His shoulders. His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace.”
Isaiah 9:6

This scripture reveals what happens upon arrival.

His Wonder touches our person. This connects to our innocence with our faith. To believe that He is able to do anything when we pray. He is able to touch the deepest part of who we are.

His Counsel gives us direction. When we don’t know what to do, when we don’t know how to do something, He will lead us. Not only will He lead us, but He will counsel us into His ways and plan.

He is our Mighty God. This speaks to His ability in anything we face. He has all power for everyone. Our belief and willingness to trust Him is the key that changes the dynamics of our life.

He is our Everlasting Father. He is the best Father the world has known. His love is unmatched. His power is undefeated. His ways are unstoppable. He is our Heavenly Father who affirms us and who will never leave us!

He is our Prince of Peace. He is our Peace. In all things He will lead us and protect us. He calms our hearts while healing our souls. His Peace also guards our hearts and minds from what is going on around us. Daily, He is our Peace!

This is why we must shine for Him! Upon arrival everything gets better! Our lives are a living testimony of His Great Person. I encourage you to let Him in. Let Him shine through you. Let Him reveal all these things in your life!
