CHAPTERS OF LIFE
This is a great time in the year to reflect on what has happened and how we can value what really matters. Everyday we have the opportunity to connect with Christ and with others, which are the only two things that last forever. It’s faith, family and friends that truly make a rich life; however, these things are easy to take for granted.
Life moves by Chapters. Just like in a book, chapters have a beginning and an ending. They emphasize different points and stages of growth adding to the BIGGER picture of our life. They are important to maximize so we get the most out of where we are. This, however, is difficult as we move about our fast paced days.
It’s funny how our fast paced days can blur the chapter we are in.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under Heaven.”
Ecclesiastes 3:1
Notice timing is crucial with God and He knows the exact Chapter of our lives.
What we do know will echo in eternity, which is why it’s important to maximize the Chapters of life. Investing in the Eternal will give deep joy and peace. It will give purpose and focus to us.
When we invest in what is temporal or fickle, we have an emptiness, and a wandering of trying to find who we are and what are supposed to do. This leaves us searching for significance in what others think and say. Unfortunately this is a tap too many fall for.
Our moment is now! No matter what Chapter we are in, something great is for us in Christ.
I encourage you to slow down to Worship Christ and to invest in those around you. Augment the Chapters of your life by keeping in view what matters both now and in eternity.
No matter what comes our way in the Chapters of Life, our faith and our relationships will be the constant. Value both and maximize the moment!
May the Lord bless you this Christmas Season with His Joy and Peace!
The best is yet to come!
