CIRCLE THE WAGON
Life is busy.
We all experience this daily as we multi-task our responsibilities, and yet we try to connect with what is important to us. This at best is a juggling trick we navigate through, trying to keep our lives in focus.
This is our culture today and we all have to find our pace!
Through this pattern the enemy loves to distract and wear us down. This is easy because after a day at work, getting the kids, having family time and trying to eat a hot meal together, we are tired and zoned out. From this point it’s easy to be overwhelmed or not engaged in our faith.
Through sometimes being overwhelmed and not engaged in our faith, I believe this is how we are lead into temptation, or lead away from our focus in Christ. This is how we lose sight of what matters and what is important to us both now and in eternity. This shouldn’t be taken as an insult, it’s the reality in which we live; however, knowing this can give us the power to win.
Sometimes we have to circle the wagon and get things in order.
“Long ago the Lord said to Israel: I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love. With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.”
Jeremiah 31:3 NLT
I believe this is the reason why we circle the wagons! This scripture speaks to His mercy overlooking our mistakes and what we deserve, but giving us mercy instead. This speaks to His position toward us being filled with love, not because of us, but in spite of us. This is His Amazing Grace!
Today, circle the wagon of your heart and life. Let Jesus fill you with passion, tenderness and love. Allow Him to inspire you again in faith with purpose. Even as you go about your busy life, He can inject you with strength and joy.
This is our moment to remember why we are here. To remember why we are Christ Followers. To remember who He is!
He is reliable, dependable, predictable, stable and able to help us in anyway. Circle the wagon and receive His love anew.
