THREE STEPS TO CHANGE THE WORLD

I believe three steps can change the world!

You may call me naive and disconnected from reality; however, I believe that Jesus is able to do anything.

When we look at the landscape of issues in our world we see the tension, unrest and evil. Daily, it seems things are going on with death, hate and devious schemes played out on humanity. It is easy to either be filled with fear or filled with complacency in an attempt to process these things. Both of these reactions is a problem, because they do not acknowledge the ability of Christ. He is able and we have a part to play in His solution.

God’s plan for the world consists of taking imperfect people, who get it wrong a lot, and touching their lives, while putting His Spirit in them; thus, shining through them so others know Him.

He includes both you and me, giving us the opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of the greatest movement the World has ever known! I fully believe the World can be changed by taking three steps!

Notice Jesus’s commission in Matthew 28:19,

“Therefore go and make disciples of all Nations, baptizing them in the Name of the Father, the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”

Matthew 28:19

His commission covers all the Earth! It covers every person and every nation. While this is BIG, it starts with one person at a time and that is where you and I come in.

Three steps to change the world:

#1. Overcome fear. This is huge in effort, yet possible with Christ. Fear causes so many things to go wrong; from race relations, to marriages, to church in general and more. Fear traps us, faith frees us! Each of us deal with fear at some level; however, we can overcome it! Determine today to embrace courage in all points of your life!

“Courage is more exhilarating than fear, and in the long run it is easier.”

Eleanor Roosevelt

#2. Open your heart. God has called us to make a difference and to be His Light! Where we get sidetracked is when we just make points. While making points is not wrong, we can do so without opening our heart and that is where the disconnect comes in. Step forward today with an open heart to God and people everywhere. Let Him come through you no matter what!

“We are not called to make points. We are called to make a difference.”

#3. Receive Humility. Humility is a powerful weapon we can have in our lives. In fact, pride is the deadliest poison to humanity and we all deal with it. No one is exempt and it takes continual effort to overcome it. Humility empowers us to win this fight! Be determined to receive humility with God and with all people.

“Humility opens locked doors.”

These three steps can change THE world, and even closer, change OUR world! Be a part of the solution, and be a part of His movement!

The best is yet to come!
