WHAT DO YOU SEE?
Do you see the glass half full or half empty?
We have all heard this question in different forms yet it speaks to ALL of us. Our perspective is POWERFUL on a daily basis as it impacts our attitudes, actions and decisions.
If our perspective is on the right thing we can get through anything. If our perspective is on the wrong thing we can quit for anything.
What do”you see”
The answer to this question is currently dictating more than you know; however, you have the power to choose what you look at.
When in Christ, the glass is always half full because He is able to do the impossible. In fact, He is always ready to move in our situations, showing the goodness and mercy of Heaven.
“For nothing is impossible with God.”
Luke 1:37
No matter what you are facing today, the Light of Jesus is shining toward you. In Him is the ability to touch every aspect of your life, and in Him is the ability to do miracles.
The important thing for us is to keep our perspective on the glass being half full. We will be tempted today and tomorrow to see the scenarios around us as half empty, yet we can choose our focus.
Here are three things that can daily help our focus or when we are overwhelmed:
#1. Pray. This is basic, however in the heat of life it is vital that we train ourselves so that before we react, we act in prayer. When we pray it puts our focus on Christ and what He can do. It empowers us to go to Him for our help.
#2. Make a list. This is taking the time to write down what God has done in our lives. It empowers us to remember His goodness and ALL that He has done. When we remember, it lifts us to see the glass half full.
#3. Get help. Reaching out to others for support is huge in our lives. We need it and no one can do life alone; it’s not the way we were created. Receiving the help of others is refreshing and uplifting. Allow this in your life.
What do you see?
Be determined to see the glass half full! Be determined to see Jesus ready and able to do miracles for you!
May you be lifted from all of your burdens and may you be free from all of your fears. The best is yet to come!
Something great is happening!
