Bridges are vital for our travel and our economy.
If you think about it, without them we would be limited on where we could go as we would be blocked from getting to a destination. Even where there is water, getting in a boat to travel across would be frustrating. Bridges are also metaphors of how we connect with people and how God connects with us.
We can create hoops for people to jump through, or we can be bridges where we make it easy for others to be a part and find comfort in community. Jesus models this, as He is The Bridge for humanity to find purpose, fellowship and hope in God. In fact, He removes the hoops of religion or social class by giving ALL people a chance to be a part! With this being said, the idea of Heaven coming into our life is something to desire. This signifies the will of God, the peace of God, and the Love of God coming to us in greater form where He completes His plan within us.
Prayer is the Bridge for Heaven to come to Earth.
“Call unto Me and I will answer thee, and show you great and mighty things you know not.”Jeremiah 33:3
Notice we have the opportunity to see things we don’t know about. This connects with another verse that says, “He will do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.” This opportunity shows no favoritism, it is simply us taking the step of praying!
My question for us is will we pray daily? This may seem redundant yet we are often busy and distracted from”seeing”the Bridge of Heaven coming to Earth in our lives. We tend to make things hard or complicated to cover what we are not doing but in truth this is simple. Pray and see Christ move. Pray and see Christ answer. Pray and see Heaven come to Earth.
R.W. Shambach once said, “You don’t have any trouble, all you need is faith in God.”Prayer unlocks this faith as it puts us in a position to receive Heaven in our lives.
What area of your life do you want to see Heaven?
Be faithful to pray daily. Seek Him allowing your prayers to be the Bridge that Heaven comes to Earth!
He will do it! He will fulfill it! He will Answer!
Have a great week and the best is yet to come!
