Where Would Jesus Be?

WWJD “what would Jesus do” is now a famous acronym that has found its way around the world. Yet I believe the more accurate question is WWJB “where would Jesus be” if He were walking the Earth today?

The answer to this question reveals not only the “where” but the “who”, which enables us to take the next step in our purpose as Christ followers. Our lives are destined to be Lights shining bright so people receive the greatest person ever; however, if we are not where He would be then how can we shine for Him?

This challenges us because we tend to morph with people who are like us, believe like us, look like us and who are in the Community of Faith yet Jesus is bigger than that! He is the Savior of the World, the Hope of the Nations and everybody is special to Him; moreover, He is reaching for them.

“Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. But go and learn what this means: “I desire mercy and not sacrifice.” For I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Matthew 9:12-13

Notice the “where” and “who” is the sick and the sinners and He desires us to give them mercy. This is the Heart of God.

It is good to remember that we were the sick and the sinner. More yet He was merciful, so it is imperative that we are the same to others.

Take the plunge of WWJB to be like Christ! Nothing compares to Him as He is the fulfillment in us; therefore, today be where He is. This is where our purpose is and this is where we will discover our niche.

Have a great week and may the Lord bless you and shine through you to touch someone.

Something great is happening.
