Sunday Preview – 11/8/13

Can we keep our innocence? Some would say no and others, maybe would say it’s possible yet Jesus said we must come to Him and become “as” little children. When I think of innocence children come to my mind. They are loving, believing, trusting and more! They warm our heart and energize us along with wearing us out! Kids are amazing!

My two oldest boys have started playing basketball this year and it’s a blast to watch. They are totally innocent to the rules of the game as they are running around like wild boys enjoying every second. They are care free because they are innocent. I value these moments.

What if we had that same innocence to our faith? A bold love that ignites passion, purity and enjoyment with a contagious touch of His grace! Wouldn’t that be fun? So why hold back?

In Matthew 18:3-4 Jesus says

“Assuredly, I say to you unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven.”

Matthew 18:3-4

Jesus desires us to receive innocence in our hearts toward Him thus pouring out from our lives daily! Too often we are challenged to be stale, figure things out and lose our sense of wonder of Him! I encourage you to allow these verses to speak to you today and spark a desire for fresh faith and hunger of Him! A Holy passion that will not be stopped. Innocence that empowers humility to stir growth!! In Christ this is possible!!

This weekend’s message is a prefect connection to this thought as He heals us to restore us! Plan to attend this second weekend of ‘Checkmate” and be built up and empowered! See you this Sunday at 9:30 and 11:30 for great Worship Experiences!

Go for Him, receive your innocence and watch what He does in you!

Something great is happening!
