Sunday Preview – 10/24/2013
How do I practically live for Christ?
This is a great question as we navigate the maze of religion that tells what to do or imposes it’s way on us!
Jesus made it very simple in Matthew 22:37-39.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul and with all your mind.” This is the first and great commandment and the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
Matthew 22:37-39
This can be summed up by Loving God and Loving people!!
This is can be understood and practice; so why does religion make it hard?
It’s because the simpler we make it, the more convicted we are of what we are not doing!!!
Loving God and Loving people with an open heart, an open life is how we maximize the time we have here in this life!! This is where we find joy, contentment, fulfillment and more!!
This can be summed up by Loving God and Loving people!!
When we are determined to do this, we have joy, we have peace, we have a sense of purpose that nothing else can give!!
This is why this weekend we are stretching out to love God and love people in a BIG way!
Saturday from 3-5 we are having our “Trick or Treat” with City event that gives free food, games, candy and more to families everywhere! We also collect non-perishable food items for the Hoosier Hills Food Bank as we partner with them to service Bloomington Indiana and the surrounding counties!!
This is loving God and loving people in a practical way!!
Then Sunday we have our last weekend of “Living Dead” at 9:30 and 11:30 with a message I’m excited to preach!
This is loving God and loving people in a practical way!!
Be a part! Connect and serve! Grow and give out to God and others and see what happens in you!! Make it simple and enjoy Jesus daily!!
Be the movement!! See you this weekend!! It will be BIG!!
Something great is happening!
